Lovey Hammel
President
Lovey Hammel is co-founder and President of Employment Enterprises, Inc. Lovey received a BS in business administration
in 1988 from George Mason University and was named Alumna of the Year in 1997. She served on the George Mason University Foundation from 1996 to 2005, was the first alumni chair of the foundation from 2001 to 2003 and is currently a member of the George Mason University Board of Visitors. She has received several awards, including Prince William County Commission for Women “Distinguished Woman” award and the Washington Business Journal 2005, "Women Who Mean Business" award.
Lovey is active in business and community programs with special emphasis on education and entrepreneurial programs. She has developed scholarship opportunities for families that struggle with rising tuition and worked to help young mothers increase their skills and break out of the poverty cycle with BARN (Benedictine Aid and Relief for Neighbors).
She has held numerous leadership roles, including:
