Employment Enterprises sponsors the 8th Annual 2009 HR Leadership Awards

ARLINGTON, VA - Winners of the 2009 HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington were announced at the eighth annual awards ceremony at the Crystal Gateway Marriott on Tuesday, June 9.

The event's keynote speaker, Donna Morea, president of USA and India for CGI and chair of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, discussed the importance of corporate social responsibility. She noted that workers of the newest generation, the millennials, approach their careers with enthusiasm, unparalleled technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to achieving corporate social responsibility.

Marymount University alumnus Bob Waters '91 (center), vice president for Human Resource Strategy and Talent Acquisition at Northrop Grumman, received the HR Leadership Award for Mentoring. Sponsors Kim Clark Pakstys (left) of SOS and Nancy Zsebo of Employment Enterprises, Inc., presented the award.

Established in 2001, the HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington honor HR executives for outstanding contributions to their organizations and to the field of human resource management through organizational leadership, risk taking, innovation, vision and communication, community service, and ethics.
